Windlasses

Opem Sistemi designs and produces windlass systems for bidirectional chains from 16 to 50 mm at variable speed.

The standard equipment consists of two vertical shaft symmetrical winches, completely independent. Each bridge unit is in fact equipped with its own start and control electric equipment and is therefore completely independent from the other.
Accessories, such as chain pipes, chain stoppers, chain rollers, etc. are usually included in standard or custom version.

Standard supply includes:
  • Main components: deck unit with vertical shaft complete with warping head with removable hub and bearing, main shaft, base plate, planetary reduction gear elbow type, tropicalized E.M. with el/magnetic disc brake
  • Chain stoppers;
  • Reversing starter box with variable speed inverter;
  • Portable or radio-controlled pushbuttons;
  • Fixing flange;
  • Chain pipes;
  • Devil claw;
  • Chain counter;
  • Installation drawings and hydraulic and electric diagrams (dual copy);
  • Use and maintenance manual in Italian or English, including a list of suggested spare parts to have onboard.
